Here Lately...

It's been a while since my last post! Life is crazy and blogging has taken a backseat.....but sewing hasn't, so I'm about to just do a picture drop of everything I've made in the last couple of months. Contact me if you're interested in anything and I can make one for you!

Winnie Dress (this one was made as an AU game day dress which pained me but I made it anyway...RTR!)

Junebug Dress

Sarah top (bow is in the back) and ruffle shorts

Summer bubble with matching bucket hat

Smocked bishop dress and slip. I tried a new technique on the slip to do the edges using a wide blind hem stitch on my machine and it worked great! It gives the slip a pretty scalloped look but without the trouble of using a scalloped stitch and then cutting cutting cutting.....this is much faster!

 Euro Pillow Shams

Anna Day Gown (loved this in pink)

Monograms.....

So I can't do monograms myself because I don't have the machine for it. Boo. BUT my friend Lindsey who lives right around the corner does! You can find her HERE if you're in the area and need anything. She does great work is very fast and has good prices too. So usually if one of my clients picks out an outfit of mine and wants a monogram on it I will make it and take it over to her. Here are some recent ones:

 Sally Bubble

Ruffle pants with a white tee that I found and got Lindsey to applique. This outfit's for Eleanor and she wanted to be in the picture with her clothes :)

Knitted Hat
Cold weather is coming!! We're so ready that we've already gone camping and pulled out our knitted hats. I can make these in any size from baby-adult!

Fall Stuff

Here are some things I just finished for the Lee family that will be great for Fall! (All of this fabric came from JoAnn's! They have good stuff if you have time to really look.)

Sam overalls

Sally's sporting hers today too!

A-line top with banded pants (this would look great with an applique/monogram)

Girls ruffle pants

Here are some precioussssss pictures that two of my friends sent to me of their children in the outfits I made for them. They are both boy outfits too! Woohoo! I'm seriously lacking examples of boy outfits because I have 2 girls!!

Here's sweet William in a bubble that we did for him to wear to a wedding they went to this past summer. These pictures were taken by his mom, Margaret. She takes amazing pictures! Check her out HERE if you're looking for someone in the Birmingham area. Christmas cards are around the corner!!

Smocked Baby Bubble (this can be smocked or not if you'd like to add a monogram)

This was Parker's outfit for his baby dedication at our church. Doesn't he look great?!? I made it out of a beautiful cream linen fabric and we used pearl buttons on the front. My good friend Kate (his mom) had the monogram done by her sister. She has awesome stuff! Check it out HERE if you need something personalized.
